Helpful Animals: South African Baboon Gum Cleaners

Don’t you hate stepping in gum when you step out of your car at a 7-11 as you are going in to get a delicious Slurpee®? I sure do. They don’t have this problem in South Africa where they have roaming troupes of Baboons who volunteer to clean up that tasty discarded chewing gum.

Their favorite is Juicy Fruit by Wrigley’s, and their least favorite is surprisingly, banana flavor by Hubba Bubba.
