With Liberals In Charge, Prepare for Mob Justice

Why would an attempted rapist, drug addict and degenerate with 17 items on a criminal record at the young age of 26 be out of prison and roaming the streets where he rapes a fifth grade girl? Oh, that’s right. Liberals must be in charge. That’s what you get in towns like Detroit and Philadelphia.

In towns where the cops are powerless, crime is not prosecuted and prisons allow early release, the only resort law-abiding citizens (those who haven’t fled the city) have is mob justice.  From Philly.Com here with thanks to reader David.

About a dozen neighborhood residents flew into a rage yesterday afternoon when they cornered Jose Carrasquillo, who police said they had linked through physical evidence to the heinous Monday-morning rape of an eleven year old girl.

The justice-seeking mob rained fists, feet and wooden sticks upon Carrasquillo, 26, for several minutes until police intervened.  When the dust cleared, Carrasquillo was in critical condition at a local hospital, and police officials were thanking the locals for helping them catch a man they had pursued feverishly but identified only as “a person of interest.”

“Justice, community-style. It’s a beautiful thing,” said a resident who declined to be identified.

Law-enforcement sources said that detectives are still compiling evidence for their case against Carrasquillo. Charges will have to be approved by the District Attorney’s Office.

Seven years ago, at age 19, Jose Carrasquillo was accused of trying to rape a woman in Kensington, just a half block from the day-care center.  Ramsey said that the 2002 case was one of 17 arrests that litter Carrasquillo’s adult criminal record.

Vigilante justice is distasteful, as I’ve said before.  But to me the real crime here is the abject failure to keep known criminals locked away from good people.
