Brew Hub is Amazing
If you are a fan of craft beers and especially Florida craft beers like Cigar City, be sure to check out Brew Hub in Lakeland FL. It is right off I-4 and has a great tasting room for the microbreweries that use its facility.

The Trailer Trash Bloody Mary is Awesome
This thing is a meal in itself. It has shrimp, three stuffed olives (chream cheese, pickle and slim jim respectively), a slice of bacon, celery stalk, and you drink it with a hollowed-out slim jim, called a “Meat Straw.” It was spectacularly delicious. Got it at Robbie’s in Islamorada.

In Houston, I got a chance to eat at Pappas Bros. Steakhouse. This is a glorious panorama of the meats they had on display. I chose the 16 OZ ribeye and barely managed to finish it. What a wonderful meat eater’s paradise!

I love old photos of guys hanging out at saloons and taverns. I swiped this photo from a pub wall in San Carlo, CA using my genius scan app. It wasn’t until I really examined the photo that I realized that one dude is holding a pair of fish in one hand and a beer in the other.
