MySpace.Com is an Internet Plague!

I will admit that I played around with Myspace for a while. What can I say? I was bored and at work, and I was running around posing as ChandraLevy, and building a friends list of hated murderers like Jeff Dahmer and recently deceased celebs such as Peter Jennings.But somehow, my web profile was targeted as “poor taste” or some such nonsense and it was deleted. Then the content server at work began to block the myspace domain before I had a chance to recreate it.

But while I was there, I was bombarded by the worst HTML coding, sloppiest taste in web content, and some downright stupid people. My Chandra Levy character was being constantly hit on by really dumb guys! sheesh.

When you hear people talk of online communities such as myspace.com, remember that they are not some fabulous social network advancing our culture. They are the scum of the internet, dragging it further down the sewers day by day. They are full of the most shallow, vapid and weak minded people our society has to offer. They are the next generation, and that scares me.
