Reason 116 to HomeSchool

Your kid won’t be in a 3rd-grade gang that tries to murder the teacher. It seems that eleven special snowflakes brought in steak knives, toy handcuffs and duct tape to school in a bizarre plot to murder the teacher. How bad of a teacher do you have to be to have one third of the class decide to take you out?

Eleven 3rd grade students got together and plotted to kill their teacher, even going so far as to bring handcuffs and a knife to school, Waycross police said.

One of the teacher’s relatives said each child at Center Elementary School in Waycross had a job to do, including one assigned to wipe up the blood.

The plot unraveled over the weekend when a student tipped off police.

In addition to the knife being found, the school officials said other students had duct tape, toy handcuffs, ribbon and a heavy crystal paperweight.

The police chief in Waycross said that he believes the plan may have been developed because one of the students was punished with some sort of time out. However, that theory remains under investigation.

Some teachers laughably say that homeschooling is bad because the children need to be socialized. To me it seems that some schools are like a maximum security prison where students plot to shiv the guards. If that’s socialization, then no thank you.
