“Underserved” is New Codeword for Blacks
I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but there is a new codeword for helpless black communities that was invented by liberal whites. That word is “underserved.” Supposedly we are all supposed to believe, that because of institutional racism, areas that are predominantly black are somehow “underserved.” Does this mean that they don’t get fire or police response in their communities? Yes, they get those services. Do they have water and sewage and garbage pickup in these “underserved” parts of the city? Yes, everyone gets the service. Do they not have banks? A Division of Motor Vehicles? A place to vote? Yes, yes and yes, they have all of that. Do they not have grocery stores? They have grocery stores too, just like white people. Maybe they don’t have schools? Naw, they have schools too, and buses to take them there. Maybe they don’t have internet access? Sorry, they have internet access and cable too, not that anyone watches cable anymore.
My home county sent full time squads of three different agencies to one of these “underserved” communities, and they knocked on 3200 doors and were able to distribute 1% of vaccines to those “underserved” residents. I wonder what happened to the unused vaccines that had been thawed out? How many vaccines did they expect to deliver? And now that the vaccines have gone out, are they better served or do they remain “underserved?”
So what makes a community “underserved?” It’s what racist white people declare blacks to be, because blacks aren’t capable of taking care of themselves.
