Mom’s Body Donated to Science is Blowed Up
A man in Arizona donated his Mom’s body to science after she died of Alzheimer’s. He thought she would be used in a study to help learn about the disease, but instead, her body was blown up by the military.
From CBS here:
“She was then supposedly strapped in a chair on some sort of apparatus, and a detonation took place underneath her to basically kind of get an idea of what the human body goes through when a vehicle is hit by an IED,” Jim says. “Every time I dream about my mom, I told you she was a quiet person, this person in my dream was angry.”
My kid told me about this story, and I think it’s hilarious. He said a guy on Reddit asked how somebody even finds out what happened to the body, and someone replied, “Bit by Bit.”
