Squirrels in Videos

Kiltak at Geeks Are Sexy posted an outlandish video of a squirrel stepping into a catapult trap.  Once the squirrel gets his food, the trap is sprung and the squirrel is shot 30 feet into the backyard.  You can click over there to watch it after you see these two videos below. 

First up is the Twirl-a-Squirrel.  If you are like me then squirrels are a menace to your birdfeeders.  Myself, I have a weight-triggered gate on my feeder that prevents pilferage if anything heavier than a woodpecker tries to eat from it.  The funniest part is the 1 minute mark when you see a dizzy squirrel doing what can only be described as break dancing.

Next up is a crazy British lady that has created an obstacle course for the squirrels in her neighborhood.  She keeps a scoresheet to tally the fastest tree rats. She should be careful. Building the confidence and agility of squirrels could create a new offshoot of super-squirrels that would one day destroy us all.
