I went to a pub last night for some wings and Golden Tee and in walks a man with a service dog. The owner pulls out a bar stool and the pooch bellied up to the bar. The manager of the pub set a plate of bacon in front of the dog and the pooch sniffed it but wouldn’t eat it without the explicit permission of its owner.

I didn’t know if this amounted to cruelty or not. A dog works hard enough to earn a seat at the bar and then can’t drink a beer or eat bacon?
