Spiritual Warfare Beliefs Spurred Murderous Exorcism
The two toddlers murdered by Zakieya Latrice Avery and Monifa Denise Sanford may have been a result of a cultish belief that anyone can dispel demons. Both women attended a cultish outpost of Exousia Ministries, a California based “church” that instructs people in the arts of demon casting and dubs their religious leaders as “Disciples.”
An earlier photo of Sanford, only 21, left above, shows her in a more put-together and photogenic state.
I have no idea how Sanford went from looking fresh and young to being an ashy, blistered, balding murdering nutjob, but maybe her religious fervor had something to do with it.
An article here offers no new updates other than the fact that both women worshiped at Exousia Ministries in Germantown, Md. There is no official site for this outpost church that I could find, but it may be related to a larger international church located here.
This is a woman-led church, whose husband committed suicide last year, and she posts videos of women carrying swords carrying out demon-slaying justice.
Both women have already admitted to the police that they murdered the children to drive out the demons possessing them. But I think the demons were actually possessing the women themselves.
