HealthCare.Gov Uses Dozens of Tracking Files
I was doing some research on a .GOV site that appears to be used by a Zeus beacon- don’t worry, unless you want a fishing license in Louisiana- and I went to Urlquery.net, an online resource that tracks malicious URLs and stumbled on quite a few people trying to access healthcare.gov, the Obamacare portal. I’ve written about how poorly coded the site is before, but it is laughable at how many tracking cookies and stats counters these idiots are trying to use at the same time. Check out this chart-
So as you can see, they use Optimizely, pingdom.net, two different google trackers, and chartbeat.net. Some of these are content delivery network loading trackers, but each of these companies are tracking which pages get loaded and when. And, they are doing it over clear text HTTP too.
Oh, and I love how many of the screenshots of the healthcare.gov website show 404 errors.
LOLz!!!
