Annual Online Flowers Stores Ruining Valentines Day
Last year I posted how Proflowers.com and 1800flowers.com ruined peoples’ Valentines Day. Well its that time again, and there are still many dissatisfied customers.
@proflowers @prvd thanks for the response. I spoke with customer service and they cancelled and refunded everything. I’m just frustrated.

DEAD…JUST DEAD FLOWERS: Seriously, ProFlowers? I am not even sure what kind of flowers these are! I took them … tinyurl.com/abxjom5

Seriously, remind me to never buy from #ProFlowers again. The leftovers at Wal-Mart looked way better (and were half the price). That’s sad.

Dear @proflowers I don’t think these are going to pep up as promised. We are 7 hours in. And they smell like mold. twitter.com/CandaceHavens/…

Ordering online flowers is the lazy man’s way of being romantic. At least if you use FTD or Teleflora, you get connected to local florists and not some warehouse of cheap flowers.
I stayed at work until 7:30pm last night waiting for flowers Dave sent me from 1800flowers. I left to spend time with him instead, the flowers arrived at work at 8:30pm. I’m not back at work today, out until Tuesday. We’ve made a deal that if he gets me flowers he picks them up and hands them to me.
(He did other very sweet things for me yesterday that meant a lot, just the flowers didn’t work out.)
Yeah the online flower idea looks good on paper but seldom works out well. Both times I tried the service resulted in sad disaster.
