Metro Delays in DC Rush Hour- Baby Came Early
Riding the DC Metro is a germ-infested crowded experience on the best of days. And if there is a delay during the afternoon rush hour, people start getting really cranky. Sometimes its a suicide that holds up trains, but yesterday some stupid government worker, not having enough sense to stay home, tried to deliver her baby on the grubby floor of the DC Metro’s Redline.

As it turns out, the mother was rushed to a hospital where she delivered in a cleaner environment. Plus, she was able to avoid running her fare card twice for the extra passenger.
