I ran into a kindly old Californian in the Bay Area wearing a cowboy hat that he claimed was over 30 years old. We got to talking about how he got robbed in Tennessee by some black bandits while trying to buy liquor at a store on 1961 and mentioned he was from Half Moon Bay just south of San Fran. I mentioned how I love that town and that I think it is still largely unspoiled comPared to the rest of the area. Then he walked me to his pickup and pulled out this framed 1955 aerial photo of his hometown of Half Moon Bay. The large field is now the airport and only fishing facilities are present.
