Stanford Study Proves No Benefits From Organic Produce
Organic farming seeks to undo hundreds of years of agricultural science and advancements by forgoing pesticides and antibiotics. The results are expensive, undersized and mealier harvests. People believe that eating “organic” is good for them because they believe in junk science that teaches that pesticides, radiation, genetic modification, and antibiotics are harmful to humans. Now a study by Stanford proves there is no benefit.
From WTOP here:
Patient after patient asked: Is eating organic food, which costs more, really better for me?
Unsure, Stanford University doctors dug through reams of research to find out _ and concluded there’s little evidence that going organic is much healthier, citing only a few differences involving pesticides and antibiotics.
Eating organic fruits and vegetables can lower exposure to pesticides, including for children _ but the amount measured from conventionally grown produce was within safety limits.
Nor did the organic foods prove more nutritious.
People are putting their own health at risk because they believe organic food is better. I have documented several times that most national food poisoning outbreaks tend to come from organic farms and organic farming methods.
