PCP, Coke, Pot, Booze and Buoyancy of a Brick
What is the cause of Rodney King’s Death? Of course Rodney King was stoned out of his mind when he died. But it took the coroner’s report to confirm just how badly King was blitzed when he took his fatal NesTea plunge to the bottom of his swimming pool.
When Rodney King was famously and deservedly beaten back in 1991 by the LAPD, it was suspected that King was on PCP due to the display of strength and his refusal to obey police orders. So he combined that with prescription marijuana (thanks California!), liquor and a few lines of blow. Just another day of fun at the House that Dr. Drew gave Rodney.
From TMZ here:
The coroner says King was “in a state of drug and alcohol induced delirium” at the time of his death … and either fell or jumped into the swimming pool.
The report continues, “The effects of the drugs and alcohol, combined with [King’s preexisting heart condition] probably precipitated a cardiac arrhythmia and [King], thus incapacitated, was unable to save himself and drowned.”
According to the report, King was naked and face down at the deep end of the pool when officials arrived on scene.
Cops also found a pitchfork, a hoe and a vaccuum pool sweeper in the pool … which King’s GF used to try and fish Rodney out of the water. The GF told cops she didn’t go in after Rodney because she is not a good swimmer and was afraid to enter the water.
So his fiancee, Cynthia Kelley, was one of the jurors that ruled that King should get millions of dollars in a settlement with the LAPD. Shows how much she really cared about him by trying to retrieve his bloated body with a freakin’ pitchfork! She didn’t want to get in the water because her extensions would get wet.
