LulzSec Hacker Pretends to Be Retarded to Avoid Extradition
Anyone who wants to hack US Government agencies or US corporations can do so with impunity provided you do it from the UK and pretend you have a mental disease called “Aspergers.” Gary McKinnon has already avoided extradition on those claims for over a decade and Ryan Cleary of LulzSec is flapping his arms and claiming he has the disease as well.
From the Telegraph here:
LulzSec ‘hacker’ Ryan Cleary unlikely to be extradited to US because he has Asperger’s syndrome
A hacker accused of conspiring to bring down the websites of the CIA and the UK’s Serious Organised Crime Agency is not expected to be extradited to America, his solicitor said today.
Ryan Cleary, 19, who has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, has been charged in the UK with conspiring with three other people to create a remotely-controlled network of zombie computers, known as a ”botnet”, which crashes websites.
His solicitors Kaim Todner today said he is also subject to an indictment with the same charges in California but the US prosecutor has said Cleary should be dealt with by British courts and the US will not be seeking his extradition.
The case is likely to add further weight to the case of Gary McKinnon who is currently challenging a US bid to extradite him on charges of hacking into highly sensitive military computers eight years ago.
Mr McKinnon, who suffers from autism, admits hacking but claims he was looking for evidence of UFOs. His mother, Janis Sharp, claims that Mr McKinnon would commit suicide if the extradition went ahead.
Britain could assemble an army of Asspie hackers and no one would be able to prosecute them. They would be hilarious to watch drool on their keyboards, but apparently this brand of retard is above the law.
