O’Hare’s Plane
I’m stuck for a moment in Chicago’s O’Hare airport on a layover. My final destination is Wichita, Kansas, and oh boy, I can’t wait. Meh.
Anyways, I spotted Medal of Honor winner’s Edward O’Hare’s airplane on display in Terminal two. This was the aircraft that was recovered from the bottom of Lake Michigan where it was lost after a training mishap.
I think its a little out of place right next to a Japanese sushi stand, considering it was the Japanese that ended O’Hare’s career over the Pacific. And the sushi wasn’t that great. I’ve had better and cheaper back home in DC.
