Face on Fire
A waiter at the awesome Calypso restaurant in Reston’s Lake Anne town center serves up a dish flambe style. My wife snapped this awesome photo and I swiped it from her iPhone. When Cartney saw the picture, he declared “Oh no! That man’s face is on fire! He’s sad!”
We tried to explain to the boy that the man in the picture is okay, and that the food they were eating was supposed to be on fire. That caused the boy to stop eating his dinner, I think, in fear that his cheeseburger would burst into flames.
