Water Boarding and Water Beds

Twitter has been an amazing utility for me to see, understand, and filter the information flood about Osama Bin Laden’s assassination. When all of your twitter contacts are happily sharing great information, the truth of the situation gets shaken through a sifter much more quickly than what could have been learned watching 5 network news stations on Cable.

The picture above is Osama Bin Laden’s King-Size water bed with a blood stain on his carpet. I don’t know why I think its funny that this bastard had a waterbed, but it is. And speaking of water, remember how all the libs were outraged that some captured terrorists were waterboarded? It turns out that those waterboarding sessions is what gave us the names of Osama’s assistants, and it led our Navy Seals to his location.

CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden’s most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information Mohammed’s successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.

The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful. Former president George W. Bush authorized the CIA to use the harshest interrogation tactics in U.S. history. President Barack Obama closed the prison system.
