Democrat Daughters Gone Wild
Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley’s Teenage Daughter Tara O’Malley left a High School graduation party in Baltimore at around 4:30 PM. By 7 PM, she was shitfaced, facedown in a gutter in the Inner Harbor, Baltimore’s notorious college bar district. Cops had to use a phone to call 911 for an ambulance for alcohol poisoning because they didn’t want to broadcast that they found the Gov’s daughter over the radio.

A Baltimore police officer suspected Gov. Martin O’Malley’s unconscious 18-year-old daughter had alcohol poisoning and called for medical help Friday.
A dispatcher questioned if alcohol poisoning was the reason the officer needed an ambulance for Tara O’Malley at Inner Harbor on May 27 at 7:30 PM and Sgt. Duane Henry said it was.
During a cell phone call to the dispatcher, Henry was careful to note that the young woman was the governor’s daughter and that he didn’t want it to be broadcast over the police radio.
Gov. O’Malley’s wife, Baltimore District Judge Katie O’Malley, issued a statement a day later, saying her daughter had attended a graduation celebration before she “became ill and received medical treatment.” She called it a “teachable moment” and asked that the family’s privacy be respected.
Nice pals the Governor allows his daughter to hang around with. I wonder if they drew penises on her face with a sharpie while she was passed out? That would be a teachable moment too.
Acting out like this is usually a sign of problems in the home, whether it be abuse or neglect, and this is likely not the first time Tara has guzzled some booze. Thanks to Dan Riehl.

Girls with daddy issues can be an awful lot of fun, obviously… But after awhile, they get annoying.
Enders, there is a huge difference between being spotted by the paparazzi enjoying adult beverages and drinking yourself into a coma on graduation day.
I really appreciate what the cop did. It was already embarrassing to have drunk so much, but to shame the poor girl by letting people know she is related to the govenor would scar her for life. Low associations like that will ruin your employment chances.
A sign of problems at home? No, maybe it’s simply a sign that his daughter is a teenager. There weren’t penises drawn on the face, although the lack of severity of the situation did require you to suggest such. A teenager celebrating with drinks on her graduation night- is it cause to alert the media, literally? I don’t think this would be getting so much criticism if she wasn’t famous, so whoever wrote this highly critical viewpoint needs to lay off and let her live.
Marcus, this was the governor’s daughter and unlike the shenanigans in the UK, most girls don’t get pissed to the point of alcohol poisoning here in the US. Severe over drinking is a good indicator of addiction, and as such, usually points to some type of trauma in life- the type of which you get from a bad time at home or as a victim of some type of abuse elsewhere.
