Detroit Cops User Taser- Dad Uses Toddler as Human Shield

Seems pretty much par for the course for Detroit, a city rotting due to democrat values. A cop was going to taser a belligerent father who had broken into his ex-wife’s house, and when he saw them whip out the taser, he used his kid as a human shield.

A Michigan father faces up to four years in prison after police say he used his 2-year-old daughter as a human shield to avoid being shocked with a police Taser.

Warren Police Sgt. Heidi Metz says Jesse Cox, 27, had broken a screen door into his ex-wife’s house and refused to go outside after officers arrived.

Cox then argued with police who stood in the doorway warning him that he faced arrest for breaking in.

“He takes what we call a fighting stance, clenched his fist, and that’s when one of the officers pulled out his Taser,” Metz says.

As officers pointed the electroshock weapon at Cox, he picked up his daughter and held her in front of him, Metz says. Officers then wrestled Cox to the ground as the child’s mother grabbed the girl.

“It’s disturbing for sure,” says Metz. “And it’s his own child. It’s not like it’s somebody else’s child.”

Yeah, those Detroit cops apparently fully expect suspects to use RANDOM children as human shields, but their own kid, WTF?
