Haitian Zombie Outbreak

Haitians are famous for two three things- Poverty, zombies and now earthquakes. So what happens when you pile up corpses? You get zombies. Despite the fact that the island was covered in substandard housing, this earthquake struck mid-day. Most people were not at home at the time. There were several thousand killed by the quakes to be sure. But the higher numbers of corpses being reported now and the fact that they are burning the bodies? Those are zombie bite victims. Why else would you have to call in the US Military? Max Brooks’ book describes this as a class 3 outbreak.

I just got a call from a friend who is part of the relief effort in Haiti. At sunrise this morning, citizens in the northern part of Port au Prince, witnessed movement in the piles of dead that had been Stacked on Balan street. It appeared as though the dead had returned to life and are milling around aimlessly making weird gutteral noises. People are panicking and the government has tried to capture some of these walking dead but so far efforts to take one “Alive” have failed. I will post more info as it comes in.
