Oh Deer! Dumb Woman Gored by Mule Deer

People always forget that wild animals are powerful and can seriously pwn you if you let your guard down. A 63 year old woman, who probably has loads of cats at her house, visited her sister in Colorado and decided it was a good idea to pet a mule deer. Behold the pwnage:

A woman was gored by a buck mule deer after she tried to pet it Monday. Joan Nutt, 63, was visiting her sister’s home when the attack occurred.

Family members said they were familiar with the deer and said it was a frequent visitor to their property.

Nutt apparently called the deer in an attempt to pet it. The deer approached, lowered its head and charged her.

A passerby witnessed the deer stomping Nutt and was able to scare it off and call the Sheriff’s Office. After medical services arrived they reported the buck continued to come back to the area.

“We had to constantly harass it away from us,” one of them said.

Nutt was transported to the Pikes Peak Regional Medical Center in Woodland Park where she was treated for lacerations.

The deer had to be euthanized and sent to the Division of Wildlife health lab in Fort Collins for examination.

Listen up you whacky eco-worshippers. The wildlife you encounter don’t want hugs. And when someone has to kill an animal because you were an idiot and got beaten up by it, that’s just a big waste of food.
