Pork Tenderloin at Mesa Grill
I grabbed an early dinner at Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill. This was a pork tenderloin rubbed in chili and chipotle, drizzled with a sweet barbecue and hot chipotle sauce. On the side was a cornmeal wrapped in a corn husk and a twice-baked potato with chipotle sauce and creme fresche. And of course it wouldn’t be complete without a Dos Eqis beer.
It was expensive but so damned yummy!
Considering you were there to eat it, I must ask: In the end is that too much sauce, or did it all work? Just enough? Not enough?
I feel like an ophthalmologist…
I ate the last bite with the last drop of sauce so it was surprisingly perfect. The photo didn’t do it justice.
I hate you.
Tuffer’s comment made me laugh so hard I made all of Hell’s Kitchen jump. Laughing so hard on your way to work is not normal behavior. Thanks for the laugh.
Do you two work together and Pat was The Chosen One for the conference?
Poppy has amazing powers of intuition and deduction. I LOL’ed too when I read his comment when I stumbled into the room at 1 AM after having devoured a pound of Hot Wings at Hooters.
You ate wings…..at Hooters……..now I really hate you.
