Manufacturing Hate

So you work as a journalist in a country where a movie director was murdered for creating a movie that told the truth about Islam, and where riots broke out for publishing editorial cartoons depicting Muhammad in the newspapers- so what do you do? Why manufacture a news story that shows that women dressed in a burka are discriminated against, even when they’re not. That’s what happened in this video below that shows a female journalist dropping oranges in the street while dressed as a westerner and then in a burka.

The journalist worked for 101TV, which appears to be a hip, trendy tv show like a combination of MTV and CurrentTV. Supposedly people rushed to pick up oranges when she was dressed as a westerner but avoided her like the plague when she was in her black beekeeper’s uniform. But here’s the thing- that’s not what really happened. Someone was filming the filmcrew and the truth came out. People still rushed to help her pick up the oranges, but they were yelled at by the director to stay away because they “were filming.” The director of the news item was fired.
