Gay Marriage Nullified in Tennessee

Those sneaky gays.  They keep trying to cheat the system by getting married in states where such tomfoolery is not allowed.  Take the case of this beastly beady-eyed dude, Jo Rittenberry.  He started cross dressing, lied to his home state about a sex change operation that didn’t happen in order to forge a birth certificate saying he was a female and then used that birth certificate to try to get married in Tennessee, to what must surely be a very desperate, or blind man that is ten years his junior.  I’ve heard that love is blind, and in this case, one would surely hope so.

Tennessee authorities have invalidated the 18-month-old marriage of a transgender couple, saying the state considers both to be men. Jo T. Rittenberry married Jeffery Scott Phillips, 36, in November 2007.  Tennessee authorities will not honor the marriage because Rittenberry was not born a woman. Tennessee does not permit same-sex marriage and does not recognize gender change even after sex reassignment surgery.

Jo T. Rittenberry, 46, was born a man and claims to have had sex reassignment surgery in Canada. Rittenberry had officials legally change the gender on his Kentucky birth certificate and got a Tennessee driver’s license saying he is female.  “The marriage is real to me,” said Rittenberry, who is also known as Terri Jo Colby. “It wasn’t anything planned to be deceptive. I’m not gay, and Jeff ain’t either.”

Considering that both of them have penises and both have engaged in sex, I’m pretty sure that they are both gay. Why the denial?

Rittenberry was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on March 19, charged with domestic assault against a relative and criminal impersonation stemming from allegations of credit card fraud in 2004.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Ted Denny told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Rittenberry is being housed with men and was patted down by both male and female officers because Rittenberry has breasts and male genitalia.

Rittenberry claims to have had male-to-female genital reassignment surgery in 2003.

So I guess those claims of a sex change were a lie, which means that he committed fraud in Kentucky when changing his birth certificate. I think of the story this way:

Tennessee was all like, “There’s no gay marriage in this state, yo!”

And then these two gay dudes were all like, “Oh yes there is, we tricked you, ha ha!”

And then Tennessee was like, “STFU noob, your fake marriage is now invalidated!”

And the two butthurt gays were like, “Hey no fair, no backsies!”

And then Tennessee was like, “Oh yeah, we have this warrant for you.”
