Judge Dropping the Hammer on OJ
I am watching the sentencing of OJ Simpson on Fox News right now for his crimes of strong arm robbery, kidnapping, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in Las Vegas. A few minutes ago, OJ was blubbering that he was sorry, didn’t mean to do anything wrong, and only wanted his stuff back that was stolen from him. Oh boo hoo.
I remember the last time OJ was on trial and the jury let the murderer walk. Blacks everywhere celebrated, even though they KNEW he was guilty. The American criminal justice system still hasn’t fully recovered, and I don’t think an LA jury has been able to convict a celebrity of a crime since then.
Finally OJ is going to rot his ass in jail. It looks like a minimum of 6 years in jail before he can be parolled. Maybe I’ll be blogging about his dumbass again in 2015.
If he’s not paroled [or shivved or AIDSed] by 2016, maybe he’ll get a presidential pardon. This poor man has been victimized for years, just like Obama, only because he’s poor and black.
Update: Min. 15 yrs sentence, with min. parole eligibility 9 yrs.
Just checked his age. 61. First chance of parole at age 70.
Judge Jackie Glass: “Earlier in this case, at a bail hearing, I said to Mr. Simpson I didn’t know if he was arrogant, ignorant or both. During the trial and through this proceeding I got the answer, and it was both.” … “This sentence is not payback for anything else.”
O, my heart goes out to this poor sexagenarian victim of a heartless justice system. It’s like a Greek tragedy.
You don’t get shower slippers in a Greek Tragedy. Or time in the yard.
But you do get a pain in the ass.
