I Played D&D

I was once a powerful Paladin who had acquired a “Vorpal” sword that, if I rolled a 20, was an automatic decapitation against my opponent. Sadly, like all D&D characters, he met an ignoble, albeit brave end. He went up against a green dragon and failed his saving throw for poison.

Gary Gygax, one of the creators of the masterful role playing game of Dungeons and Dragons died. His invention allowed for millions of geeks to waste their Friday nights for more than three decades. He will be missed.
