5 PM Music: CAKE – I Will Survive
This is one of my all-time favorite CAKE songs, which is a great cover of Gloria Gaynor’s disco-era hit of “I Will Survive. The video is amusing as well with lead singer John McCrea driving around San Francisco in a parking enforcement buggy dishing tickets to wedding guests. CAKE’s website is here. I love this version of the song… I’m not sure why I don’t own it. Hmm.
