Megan Williams Needs New Guardians

The alleged torture victim Megan Williams is surrounded by idiots who only want to use her for their own purposes. At least, that’s what the prosecutor of the West Virginia Six has declared in court. He has filed a motion to have Megan Williams turned over to someone that will protect her interests. Someone who won’t pimp her out for hate crimes marches, appearances on the Montel Williams show, or use her for fund raising for hate groups.

The prosecutor in the Megan Williams case says he filed a motion for the court to appoint a legal guardian for Williams because the people around her may not be acting in her best interests. The 20-year-old woman needs someone to look out for her during the coming prosecutions of six people charged with torturing, raping and kidnapping her.

Abraham said he has concerns about some of the statements Williams has made in the media about when she first arrived at the trailer of Bobby and Frankie Brewster.

The prosecutor said he thought Megan Williams’ appearances in the media could only hurt the case against her attackers. He repeated that on Thursday.

“I advised [the Williams family] that appearing in any media is not good for the case,” he said. “Anything she says can be fertile ground for defense attorneys.”

The Williamses told him they planned to go on “The Montel Williams Show.” Again, Abraham said he told them that could hurt the case.

Through representatives of the show, Megan Williams has received a scholarship from a private corporation to get her GED.

One of the key points is that Megan’s recent statements are already conflicting with what she reported to the police when she was first “rescued.” She had said she was kidnapped for a week. Now it comes out that she was actually up there the whole summer, involved in a love affair with one of her supposed tormentors. And the more she talks in public, the more her story changes. And these changing stories are casting doubt about whether or not she is telling the truth or is trying to use the incident to gain attention, celebrity, and free money in the form of donations.

If the six accused have good lawyers they can make hay from Megan Williams’ mistakes and get most of the charges dismissed. Which, to a race-baiting hate group led by Shabbaz, this is the best thing for him. He could use the dismissal of the crimes to promote his own hateful agenda.
