Suicide By Text Message

You know the incredibly annoying Cingular commercial with the little girl speaking text? 

Well apparently she was given a pickup truck to drive so she could take her texting on the road into oncoming traffic.  I wonder how her BFF Jill feels about her killing that poor woman in the PT Cruiser?

Police in Peoria say an accident that killed a teenager and another driver happened when the teen was text messaging on her cell phone and let her car drift into oncoming traffic.

18-year-old Ashley D. Miller of Glendale died this morning at a Phoenix hospital. She was driving a Ford pickup that crossed into the opposing lane and hit a Chrysler PT Cruiser on Lake Pleasant Parkway yesterday afternoon.  Miller was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, 40-year-old Stacey A. Stubbs of Chino Valley, died at the scene.
