Religion of Snakes on a Plane Part Deux

I wrote previously here about how the Saudi population seems to have a fetish for owning poisonous reptiles and other snakes.  I am beginning to think that Mohammad was actually Salazar Slytherin.

A Saudi passenger tried to smuggle a large number of reptiles, including cobra snakes and infant Nile crocodiles, out of Egypt in his luggage on Sunday.
 
The discovery of the reptiles in the passenger’s bags triggered a brief panic among security personnel at the Cairo International Airport, witnesses said.

The 22-year-old passenger, identified only as Anas, said he needed the reptiles, which also included chameleons, for scientific research at his university in Saudi Arabia.

I could imagine that happening in an American airport.  We shut down entire terminals when someone jumps the security gate.  What would happen if someone unleashed snakes at an airport?  You think those lazy-half-sleeping TSA agents would do anything?  They would run people over fleeing the scene.
