Growing Pains
As a parent, I have yet to experience my child doing stupid, painful things. But I don’t know who to sympathize with more in the picture below- the kid or the mom.
“Eat your green beans, or no dessert for you.”
“AAaaiiigghhh! Mama, my gdose!”
Fail.
The bad thing is that looks like a run-of-the-mill restaurant fork. This is yet another reason parents don’t often go out to eat.
I am in shock.
I’m also in shock at the Ann Coulter advertisement on this post. I took a screen shot if you’re not already aware of it. How could I not have noticed it before??!?!?!??!???
I get those because I once wrote about how Ann was a Deadhead and went to bunches of the Grateful Dead concerts. If you click on the banner, I get money from her wallet.
that cant be real. there is something odd about that photo and I wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out to be a photoshop job.
first off, the woman looks like she is just talking or singing to a crying child. No panic in her eyes, she looks calm and rational… two things you will never see in a persons face when they are holding a child with a fork in his nose. (unless the kid has done this several times)
second the fork is through the ball of his nose… how the hell does that happen (accidentally) ? I would find it easier to believe if the fork was sticking out of his face rather than through his nose the way it is.
Hey Jim,
Yeah, the resolution of the image does lead to such questions. Here is the after-photo when the fork was removed and the kid was in a better mood:

I still think this is a photoshop job.
