Your Porn Name

It seems like I’ve blogged about VH-1 all day.  But it was on when I came home, and being a Friday night, VH-1 is catering to its demographics, which is 30-somethings stuck at home on a Friday night.  So they were showing I Love the 90’s.  For the hundredth time.  So the wife and I were watching it again for the hundredth time, specifically years 95 through 97.

 

At one point they were talking about the movie Boogie Nights and the main character “Dirk Diggler.”  And next the commentators were talking about what their porn names were.  To get your porn name, you take the name of your first pet as the first name, follwed by the name of your street you lived on when you were growing up.

I started laughing as I imagined mine, and my wife asked, “What’s so funny?”

“My porn name is stupid,” I replied.  “Or really nasty.”

“Why, what is it?”

“Stinker Fairfield,” I said.  “You can imagine what my on-screen specialty is.”

“Gross!”  She laughed and then said “It doesn’t work for me at all.”

“Why not?”

She said “My porn name would be Starbuck 199th.”

I told her that it was still funny enough to put on the blog.
