PETA Chicken Runs A-Foul of RoP

So if you contribute money to PETA, what you really pay for is an idiot from Michigan, named Jason Baker, to fly all over Europe and Asia to dress up in a Chicken Suit outside of overseas KFC’s.

But Jason protested Egyptians, who kill their animals according to the Religion of Peace’s Halal traditions-  facing the victims toward Mecca before they cut the chickens’ throats.  You know, the cleanest way to kill all of God’s creatures.  Anyways, Jason flew to Cairo, Egypt to dress up as a wounded chicken to protest the way Egyptians cook chickens.  The employees didn’t take kindly to the mocking and knocked the American eco-warrior to the ground and stomped on him.  The cops showed up and dragged the activist away for questioning.

CAIRO (Reuters) – An American animal rights activist dressed as a crippled chicken fell foul of Egyptian police on Saturday after staging a protest in front of the central Cairo branch of the fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).
 
The activist, Jason Baker of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), was protesting against KFC’s chicken production practices as part of a global campaign against the U.S.-based company.

Police intervened after Baker, bandaged and carrying a crutch, fell over in a melee. His chicken head fell off and KFC staff jubilantly told onlookers that he was not Egyptian.

Local PETA activist Nadia Montasser said police released Baker, a U.S. citizen, after several hours of questioning.
