Sorry, but the hardest working man in showbusiness was not the late James Brown. It is Gene Simmons, metal god bassist from Kiss. The best reality TV show is Gene Simmons’ Family Values, which is on A&E. What makes this show so great is that the bad boy persona of Gene Simmons is completely dwarfed by his devoted common-law wife and his bright and funny kids. If you have never caught an episode, you should.

Gene is constantly plugging away trying to find new and sometimes bizarre ways to promote the Kiss band through merchandising, appearances, sponsorships and more, and these obsessive efforts are one of the main highlights on his reality show. I was tickled to see the latest product of his efforts- The Kiss Visa Card.

Kiss has teamed up with Chase for the Kiss Visa card. It has the four members’ faces on the card, and users earn a point for every one dollars in eligible purchases to use towards rewards.
