MySpace Kid Angered that List Not Published
The Internet’s self-proclaimed “Youngest Blogger,” Seth Hicks, aged 8, is angry with the new Internet News site, Guns-N-Butter, for failing to include an important link in a recent news item pointing to the list of “1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.” The list is purported to exclude history’s most important works such as the Bible, the Koran, Plato’s Republic, and anything written by Shakespeare.
Seth Hicks bragged in an email about being the “Youngest Blogger” and that he circumvented the age restrictions on his myspace page by saying that he “was 99 years old! ROFL ROFL!” His website is www.myspace.com/mommydontknow.
Seth also bragged that he keeps himself abreast of all of the emerging issues of the day by subscribing to RSS feeds of Technocrati’s Top 100 Blogs, and “News sites that tickle his fancy.” His youthful ire was raised over a recent column on the Guns-N-Butter News site by Rosemary Twickenhilfer, who wrote about another blogger who had whole-heartedly committed herself to reading all of the books on the list.
“I’ve been reading since I was four, and I understand that this will take a long time to get through this list. I wanted to get a head start as soon as possible, but those doody heads at GNB forgot the link,” Hicks wrote on his MySpace Blog today.
