Twyana Davis Fat Lying Child Rapist

I remember this foolish bitch making the news back in the mid nineties. She was accused of dumping her newborn baby in a dumpster. When confronted, she cried that she was raped and didnt want the baby. Rather than being convicted for attempted murder of her newborn, the liberal press and the Ohio prosecutors felt sorry for her and her unbearable plight, and only convicted her of child endangerment. She served a probation.

And Davis got famous writing a laughable book called “The Sacred Womb” that is heralded by womens’ rights groups for its theme of determination and self love, and her tragedy of being sexually assaulted. Imagine the “Vagina Monologues” mixed with attempted infanticide. She parlayed this book into appearances on Oprah and Ricki Lake show. She founded an organization that eventually made it legal in Ohio to abandon any baby within 72 hours of its birth, no questions asked- kinda like returning a car after a test drive.

The State of Ohio, in some demented twist of common sense, gave the abandoned child back to Davis when the child was 5 years old. My research did not determine how many times Twyana Davis has tried to abandon the child since she won custody.

As it turns out, it was all a lie. Sorta. There was a rape. And the rape spawned her child. But Twyana Davis was the rapist. She raped her little cousin repeatedly, beginning when she was 17. Her cousin was only 10 years old when the sick rapes began. Her cousin was 12 when the baby was tossed into a dumpster.

Twyana Davis has been living a 10-year-old lie, but is expected to make it right with a guilty plea to rape.

Davis, now 30, has admitted that her 10-year-old daughter was born of a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old cousin.

For years, Davis had said she was raped at a party.

Her daughter’s DNA has since been matched to the cousin, now a 23-year-old inmate serving time for rape and aggravated robbery at the Lebanon Correctional Institution. He told authorities he had consensual sex with Davis from age 10 to 12.

Though rape of a child younger than 13 now carries a life prison term, there was no provision for a life sentence when Davis had sex with her cousin, Potts said.

She made headlines in November 1995, when after giving birth in her dormitory room at Ohio Dominican College, Davis placed the baby in a trash bin wrapped in clothing and plastic bags. A passer-by found the child and notified authorities. An attempted murder charge was filed against Davis, but later dismissed.

After her arrest and conviction for child-endangering charges, Davis was placed on probation.

She wrote Sacred Womb, a book about her experiences, and appeared on television’s 20/20 and Oprah.

Davis regained custody of her child in 2000.

She also formed a nonprofit organization called Second Chance of Life, which focuses on preventing teen pregnancies and offering choices for expectant mothers.

Because of her case and others, Ohio passed the Safe Haven Law, which allows mothers of unwanted babies to bring them to hospitals, and police and fire stations within 72 hours of birth without being prosecuted.

Davis’ custody of her daughter is now under review by Franklin County Children Services.

According to an update here, Twyana was finally sentenced. She’s getting 10 to 25 years. The judge labeled her a “Sexual Predator” and drained 10 grand from her bank account. She defiantly told the judge that she was trying to be a better person and hinted that the judge himself would have to face judgement for sentencing her to such a harsh jail term.

She has ruined so many lives with her actions and lies. Her cousin is suffering for his childhood sexual abuse, now himself locked up as a rapist. His daughter, almost killed when abandoned as an infant, will have to be abandoned again to a foster care system.
