Brad and Angelina Plan on Adopting Another
Is Angelina trying to make her own Benneton Ad? Their own baby United Nations? And does Brad really get a say in any of this?
The baby is not even a month old and they are already talking about adopting another. And they want to make sure they get the right race to balance out the other flavors they already have. From Reuters here:
Weeks after the birth of their first biological child, Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to adopt another.
“Next we’ll adopt,” Jolie told CNN in an interview to be aired on Tuesday.
“We don’t know which — which country. But we’re looking at different countries. And we’re — I’m just– it’s gonna be the balance of what would be the best for Mad and for Z right now. It’s, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit best with the kids,” she said, referring to her adopted children.
Jolie’s adopted daughter Zahara, now about 15 months old, is from Ethiopia, and son Maddox, 4, is from Cambodia.
Jolie said she had given birth in Namibia because she loved Africa and had wanted to bring Zahara back to Africa.
Jolie said she was frightened during the birth, which was by Caesarean section because the baby was in a breech position. Pitt was in the operating room for the delivery, she said.
Yeah, I would be terrified too to give birth in a 3rd world country where life expetancy is 43 years old and and 1 person in 5 has HIV/Aids. Her baby was breech because she probably neglected her own prenatal care. A good OB-GYN can turn those babies upside down, you know.
Jolie is collecting babies as if they were Elvis Presley plates. And the fact that she so deeply believes in multi-culturalism that she has to adopt “one of each” will ultimately prove deeply harmful to this mashup family of hers. Is this addictive behavior?
I had a terrible opinion originally of Brad and Angelina, but want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Who knows the whole story right? They are doing great work globally and I love that they are adopting kids, although I think there are a lot of kids in America that need help too. As far as them selling the pictures, I say good for them. Somebody is going to take them anyway, they might as well get paid for them. Basically, the baby is a model already.
I think selling the pictures was a pretty good idea, as was giving the cash to charities. However, I wonder about what is the driving need behind having so many babies at once? And why must they be racially balanced? Three kids are a handfull. They havent even adapted as parents to Shiloh yet and they are already planning on another?
