Islam Forbids Women to Exercise
More proof that Islam is a barbaric religion- If a woman in Saudi Arabia exercises, she is beaten by the Religious Police. And little girls are not allowed to have PE in school. Why? Because good girls would become whores who make out with each other if they change their clothes anywhere but at home.
Can’t have that, now can we?
The liberals of this country want us to surrender to Islamic extremists in Iraq and Afghanistan. Liberals say they are for women’s rights and gay rights, but all gays are killed under Islamic law and most women can be murdered or tortured for being in public unescorted. I think its high time that this barbaric, evil practice ended.
Almost 100 intolerant Taliban barbarians were killed in Afghanistan yesterday. Good riddance.

Exercise a Challenge for Saudi Women
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Under their modest flowing robes, two-thirds of Saudi women are too fat. They can try dieting, but you won’t find many in aerobics classes or power-walking along this city’s walking trails. And very few of their daughters attend schools that have physical education classes.
There are no laws against women exercising outside their homes, but in this conservative society many are influenced by scholars and clerics who argue against it.
In Riyadh, hotel gyms and pools are off limits to women. Along the city’s walking trails, where the women walk covered in the mandatory black cloaks, they are sometimes harassed by the (religion police) muttawa.
Rana al-Abdullah said one such official ordered her to go back to her car when she was out walking one day and wouldn’t leave her alone until she did. She now walks in malls.
Many Saudis say they are baffled by the religious arguments.
At a clinic that treats obesity-related diseases, a booklet left by a writer named Muhammad al-Habdan, warned that if girls’ schools began P.E., Saudi girls would have to change into workout gear and good girls should not disrobe outside their homes. Changing in a locker room might cause them to lose the shyness that is the hallmark of good morals, the booklet warned.
It went on to say that the girls might become attracted to each other after seeing their classmates in tight leotards and tops.
I don’t believe that Islam forbids women to exercise because I’ve seen alot of thin Muslim or Moslem women. Saudi Arabia has been criticized & will change in future with Internet, women who have traveled to other Muslim countries. There are alot of educated Muslim or Moslem women.
If a woman wants to wear a veil, burka or Hijab, then it should be her right to if she is doing it voluntarily. Of course if you get a driver’s license or other ID, then you have to show face, but in most cases woman should have the right to wear a veil or Burka. & just because a woman wears a veil or burka, that doesn’t mean that she is forced to do so, nor does it mean that she is dumb-go to a university & you’ll see Muslim students who wear the veils & burkas studying science, business, accounting, etc. But most Muslim women don’t wear veils & the veil is going out of fashion.
While most women who wear them will be Moslem, you can find some women who aren’t Muslim who wear them because they like them There are 4 billion women & you’ll find individual non-Moslem women who will wear a veil, hijab or burka because they think it’s fashionable & like to. Those # would be in the exception but there are exceptions to any rule. Since you live in Florida & have probably been to the beaches, you know that on the beach, many to most of the women who wear bikinis are not the prettiest 1s & quite a few are menopausal crones. But while it’s not pretty, I don’t have a right to tell a crone that she can’t wear a bikini to the beach because they’re too ugly.
